GREEN ANARCHY

I am currently working as a secretary volunteer on the management committee at the Harpurhey Neighbourhood Project community centre (harpurhey@aol.com). As well as committee duties I assist in the kitchen at the community cafe, I also help out with the general maintenance of the building and gardens. I have a well-equipped workshop and am confident on taking on most D.I.Y.jobs. Before taking up community work I spent many years as a panel beater and I am a very good steel fabricator and welder. I am also a competent mechanic.

I feel that I can relate to different groups of people and I am aware of the issues that affect a variety of individuals in contemporary society. I have experience of working with young people in a professional capacity and also have the personal experience of my 2 sons and extended family members
